Pediatric Liver Services

The surgeons at UT Health San Antonio are proud to offer pediatric liver transplantation services to children of Texas. In an effort to provide dedicated pediatric care, our pediatric liver transplant program has been established as part of University Transplant Center at University Hospital, where we can provide up to date and cutting edge technology to these critically ill patients. In addition, we are proud to offer live donor liver transplants when necessary for children who become more ill while waiting on the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) list.
