The surgeons at UTHSCSA are proud to offer pediatric liver transplantation services to children of Texas. In an effort to provide dedicated pediatric care, our pediatric transplant program has been established as part of University Transplant Center at University Hospital, where we can provide up to date and cutting edge technology to these critically ill patients. In addition, we are proud to offer live donor liver transplant when necessary for those children who are are becoming more ill while waiting on the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) list.
